It promotes mental, emotional, and physical health by combining movement, meditation, relaxation, and self defense. The ultimate in no-impact aerobics, T'ai Chi increases blood flow, keeps joints flexible, and restores elasticity to muscles. This beginner's class will focus on a series of short forms expressing the essence and spirit of a different animal, each containing ten steps or less. Through these forms, students will learn fundamental skills such as stance, step patterns, basic blocking, and whole body movement.
