His passion quickly grew and once at high school he participated in a variety of musical experiences from the high school musicals, such as Les Miserables, and Assassins, to representing Lexington High School at many competitions. He was awarded Berklee's Superior Musicianship Award, and played in the All State Jazz Ensembles as well as the 2009 All Eastern Jazz Orchestra. Feifke graduated high school in 2009 and moved to New York where he is studying a double major in Jazz Performance and Economics. Since moving to New York, Steven has built a reputation as a pianist of note amongst not only his peers, but also his mentors. His musical performances have taken him from the Blue Note (with Brian Lynch and Dafnis Prieto), Jazz at Lincoln Center (with Chris Potter), to as far as a tour with Brian Lynch in Latvia, and headlining Florence, Italy's “Notte Bianca” music festival. Currently, Steven continues to compose and perform music as often as he can. For this show at the Regattabar, Steven will be joined by trumpet great, GRAMMY Award winning trumpet player Brian Lynch. Alongside them will be five other fantastic musicians from Boston and New York City, bringing Steven's original music and arrangements to life.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:7:30 PM
