Whether you're already an H&H concertgoer or simply yearning to explore these and related works from the Baroque and Classical periods this class provides an excellent overview and will enhance your listener experience.=0D=0A==0D=0A==0D=0A=Instructor -- Christopher Schroeder =0D=0A=Boston-based trumpeter, vocalist, composer/arranger, and educator, Chris Schroeder is a musician with diverse interests. As a trumpeter, he has performed with the Concord Symphony, Indian Hill Pops Orchestra, Neponset Valley Brass Quintet, and Boston Opera Collaborative. Prior to this, he performed on Main Street U.S.A at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom Resort in Orlando, Florida. Merging his love for chamber music and education, Mr. Schroeder founded Bravado Brass, performing dynamic educational programs for local schools and community centers throughout greater Boston. A multi-facetted vocalist, he has performed as 'Il Commendatore in Don Giovanni, with the Boston-based a cappella group Similar Jones, and most recently narrator all six voices for Stravinsky's Histoire Du Soldat for The Boston Conservatory. An active music educator, Mr. Schroeder has worked at Boston College High School as the brass instructor for their Concert Band and jazz Big Band. He currently works with the North End Music and Performing Arts Center and is the Trumpet Instructor in residence for the El Sistema Music Initiative at the Conservatory Lab Charter School in Brighton.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:7:00-8:00pm
