Named twice to Entertainment Weekly's annual list of the funniest people in America, Burroughs contributes commentaries for National Public Radio's Morning Edition, and his writing has appeared in The New York Times, The London Times, The Guardian UK, and many other publications. His next book, This is How, Help for the Self, will be released May 8, 2012.=0D=0A==0D=0A=Burroughs will give a reading and keynote address during Lesley's Literary Arts Festival, which will also feature student readings, graphic novels and comics, and a presentation on gender roles and cross-dressing in Shakespeare's plays.=0D=0A==0D=0A=&ldquo;Augusten Burroughs writes in such a wide variety of genres &ndash; novels and memoirs, advertisements and short opinion pieces &ndash; that it's very exciting for our students to be able to tap into his experience and expertise to learn about how he's become both commercially and artistically successful,' said Dr. Mary Dockray-Miller, Professor of English at Lesley University.=0D=0A==0D=0A=Free and open to the public, the Literary Arts Festival will be held Saturday, March 24.
