During an interrogation by Israeli airport security, he recalls his childhood in Acco, memories of his Jewish and Palestinian grandmothers, of war. Questions surrounding his identity become even further complicated by his imminent marriage to a Jewish-American woman.  Ibrahim Miari grew up bilingual in Arabic and Hebrew languages in Israel and is currently a part-time lecturer in Arabic in BU's department of modern languages. In addition, Miari is a BU alumnus, holding a Master in Fine Arts degree in Theater Education from the College of Fine Arts.
