Marquetry embellishes wooden structures with decorative patterns cut from veneer of different colors and values. For inlay, patterns are formed with sections of cut wood. This workshop offers a basic knowledge of tools, materials and techniques, and gets you started on a piece of your own. You'll go home with a sample board or a panel with an inlaid border and a stab-cut marquetry bellflower – plus the knowledge to incorporate your new skills in your own projects.
