DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Event Name: Our Town=0D=0AEvent Url: http://www.artsboston.org/event/detail/441597719=0D=0AEvent Date Begin: 2012-05-11=0D=0AEvent Date End: 2012-05-27=0D=0A=0D=0AIn tribute to Chatham's tercentennial, the Chatham Drama Guild at 134 Crowell Road invites you to come to 'OUR TOWN'. Thornton Wilder's Pulitzer-prize-winning American classic, directed by Elsa Bastone is a heartwarming play with universal appeal. Although set in the early 1900's in the fictional town of Grovers Corners, New Hampshire, the action of the play could just as easily have taken place right here in Chatham. In fact, as many as eighteen of those associated with this production of “Our Town” are Chatham residents – including the director, producers, actors, tech people, designers, and support staff.=0D=0A=Beginning May 1, the box office will be staffed Tuesdays and Thurs. thru Sat. from 1-3 pm, in addition to two hours prior to each performance. During these opening times, a gallery of circa 1912 photographs of Chatham provided by the Chatham Historical Society will be on display to the public. =0D=0A=Another exciting element: Thanks to a generous grant by the Chatham Cultural Council in cooperation with the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Chatham High School students will have the opportunity to see a special morning performance of the play.=0D=0A==0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:Fridays and Saturdays - 8:00 pm=0D=0A=Sunday matinees - 2:00 pm
