Steve won a Daytime Emmy Award for “Best Supporting Actor In a Drama Series” for his role of Jason Morgan in 1998.  After 21 years on General Hospital, Steve decided to leave the show.  He is currently on his farewell tour which will feature 90 minute shows filled with stories from Steve's 21 years on General Hospital as well as a Q&A session going over everything fans have always wanted to ask him.
