The story (of the filmed portion), does not concern itself with traditional story-telling techniques, but rather focuses on shadow-play and patterns which become the pounding pulse of winged aliens and Dante-esque hell-scapes. Webber's paintings are what would be best described as cro-magnon space-art, or perhaps futuristic cave drawings. Webber is a true risk-taker, and the show is well worth a viewing if you can catch the scarce openings.=0D=0A=Paintings from The Church of Love and Confusion show at The Middle East Café Gallery starting November 3rd, remaining on display throughout the month.
