DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Event Name: Sarah and the Tall Boys=0D=0AEvent Url: http://www.artsboston.org/event/detail/441655416=0D=0AEvent Date Begin: 2012-12-28=0D=0AEvent Date End: 2012-12-29=0D=0A=0D=0ASpecializing in original country/blues, Sarah & The Tall Boys is a Americana band that has been selling out venues across the country. It's been a busy year for the band. After many years of calling Chicago their home, they set their the sites to make new roots in Nashville ( which is fitting for a powerhouse vocalist such as Sarah). For those just discovering Sarah and the Tall Boys for the first time, you are in for a real treat. They seamlessly intertwine blues, bluegrass, alternative country, and Americana, resulting in a dynamic sound that is truly their own. Fronted by lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and lyricist, Sarah Potenza-Crossman, the band has been together for over 4 years. It includes Ian Crossman (bass), Gabriel Stutz (pedal steel player), Dan Allen (lead guitar), and Bryan Sansom (drums). Dynamic guitarist Dan Allen has been with Sarah since 2006, with her original group, The Sarah Potenza Band. Previous to that, Potenza-Crossman was featured on “Acoustic Chicago”, a compilation of the best singer/songwriters in the windy city. Today, with a powerful collection of original songs, Sarah and the Tall Boys continues to draw attention. The bigger than life soulful vocals of Potenza takes center stage and doesn't not let go. It's mix of blues, bluegrass, and alternative country. Simply put, this band fits the bill.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:Friday December 28 at 9pm
