The band is led by front-man Josh Shriber, owner of the wildly popular Jammin' With You!, a 5,000 square-foot music and teaching studio and performing center located in Wellesley, MA. Members of the Jamtones have toured nationally and internationally. They've shared stages with groups like Dan Zanes, Dropkick Murphys, State Radio, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Rusted Root, Bela Fleck and The Samples. The band manages a distinctly old-school, goodtime sound without sounding dated or behind-the-times by adding elements of current pop stylings. Influences include but aren't limited to: Chuck Berry, Bob Marley, Buddy Holly, Paul Simon, Toots and the Maytals, Billy Joel, The Specials and Woody Guthrie. =0D=0A=
