Shaw will be performing with alumnus pianist Lawrence Fields, bassist Boris Kozlov, and drummer Johnathan Blake. Jaleel Shaw has released two solo albums. He is a member of the Mingus Big Band and the Roy Haynes Quartet, and was featured on Haynes's Grammy-nominated CD, Whereas. He has also performed with Christian McBride, Jason Moran, Roy Hargrove, Jimmy Cobb and others, and received two ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards.=0D=0A=Presented by NPR Music and WBGO Jazz 88.3 FM, The Checkout – Live at Berklee will be webcast live worldwide in high definition video over NPRmusic.org and on the radio in New York over WBGO-FM as a special edition of The Checkout, the acclaimed multimedia show featuring what's new on New York's jazz scene.
