The end of love can break your heart. The jerks at the car impoundment can crush your car. We've all been “crushed” before--let's talk about it.=0D=0A=What is a Story Slam?  A story slam is a contest of stories by known and undiscovered talent. Themes are posted on our events pages (www.massmouth.com) and story slammers sign up on the night to tell a 5-minute short story on the evening's theme. Ten names will be drawn at random from a box. A team of 5 volunteer judges - interested amateurs, storytellers, theater people and members of the audience who love stories - evaluate how well each story is told, how well it is constructed, how well the story explores, connects and/or reveals some truth about the theme and, how well it honors the time limit.
