DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Event Name: UNH Concert Choir=0D=0AEvent Url: http://www.artsboston.org/event/detail/441657089=0D=0AEvent Date Begin: 2013-03-01=0D=0AEvent Date End: 2013-03-01=0D=0A=0D=0AThe UNH Concert Choir, directed by David Ripley, will present a program featuring the beautiful music of Randall Thompson's Frostiana: the settings of Robert Frost poems, and the works of UNH composer Christopher Kies, in his setting of poems by elementary school children from the Moharimet School and the poems of Celia Thaxter. These together form a dialogue between grown-up and child that strengthens the bond of family, so viciously assaulted in the tragedy at Newtown, Connecticut this past December.
