SUMMARY:Literacise Interactive Children's Exhibit
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Event Name: Literacise Interactive Children's Exhibit=0D=0AEvent Url: http://www.artsboston.org/event/detail/50363=0D=0AEvent Date Begin: 2009-10-03=0D=0AEvent Date End: 2010-03-31=0D=0A=0D=0AThe interactive and bilingual children's exhibit Literacise builds on the important connection between physical activity and learning. Literacise is inspired by Irene Smalls' story 'Jonathan and His Mommy.' In the story, a young boy and his mother travel together through Boston's South End neighborhood taking steps of all sizes. Literacise brings the book to life – and to kid-size scale. Children will be able to zig-zag, bunny-hop, and giant-step their way through the interactive exhibit. Literacy + Exercise = Literacise. Located outside the Rey Children's Room in the Johnson Building.=0D=0A=0D=0AStart time:The Boston Public Library is open Monday-Thursday, 9a-9p; Friday-Saturday 9a-5p; and from October-May on Sundays 1-5p.
