Jacqueline Dembar Greene will speak about what inspired her to create her historical characters, the joys and headaches of being a writer, and lots of tips for budding authors at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton.  Following the talk and tea, children are invited to join in a fun workshop to create some wonderful accessories for their dolls. Cosponsored by the JCC Early Learning Centers, JCC camps, and Solomon Schechter Day School of Greater Boston.   The tea is from 1 pm to 2 pm, and the workshop is from 2 pm to 4 pm. Tickets can be purchased at jccgb.org/magicark or by calling 617-965-5226. Recommended for ages 6 and up. Tickets for the Tea and Talk are $7 ($5 for JCC members) and tickets for the Workshop (which includes entry to the Tea and Talk) are $40 per child ($35 for JCC Members).   There will be a performance at 11 am and 1 pm. Tickets for the show are $10 ($9 for JCC members) and can be purchased at jccgb.org/magicark or by calling 617-965-5226.
