Capturing Forest Animals with Pencil and Paper (Ages 9–13)

Where do moose, snakes, turtles and pillbugs live in the forest? Capture an animal and its habitat through close observations of classroom specimens and the New England Forest gallery. Practice realistic drawing techniques to learn more about these creatures and how to draw them in their forest environments.
