Emerson College invites applications and nominations for the Dean of the School of the Arts. The Dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the School and is responsible for leading the intellectual and creative growth of its departments, programs, and faculty within a framework of shared academic governance. The Dean reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and serves on the Academic Administrators Council with three deans and the seven academic department chairs to help lead the academic direction of the College. Preference will be given to candidates who hold full professor rank. Appointment date is July 1, 2012.
