    BalletRox at Wheelock Family Theatre

    Treat the family to the season's most exciting collaboration! Renaissance Harlem will strut across the stage at WFT, as BalletRox debuts "Ben's Trumpet", a story about a young boy inspired by the hot jazz that envelopes his New York City neighborhood. This original work features ballet, swing, and tap. Based on the Caldecott Award winning book by Rachel Isadora with choreography by Anthony Williams. The program also includes "Peter and the Wolf" as well as additional shorts.

    Admission Info:
    $30 - center orchestra and front mezzanine. $25 - side orchestra and mid-mezzanine. $20 - back mezzanine.

      We really didn't know what to expect, but that being the case we didn't have a lot of expectations going in. The kids were ages 5 and 7; and mostly kept up with everything. It was fairly lively.... Expand

      I brought my 14 and 18 yo children. We all felt kind of bored and, by the end, each of us had spent some time nodding off. Choreography was so so and dancing was clearly flawed. Would not recommend... Expand
