Established in 1909 by Russian impresario Serge Diaghilev, the Ballets Russes created a sensation in Western Europe for its groundbreaking artistic collaboration among composers, choregraphers, and artists. Four composers with close associations to the Ballets Russes are featured in this rich and riveting program, part of the city-wide festival, Ballets Russes 2009
