Don't miss Mel Brooks' hysterical show! Rapacious but lovable producer Max Bialystock hasn't had a Broadway hit in years. Quite by accident, he and his meek, neurotic accountant, Leo Bloom, come up with a plot to oversell shares in a surefire flop musical and make off with the profits -- using the worst play ever written, "Springtime for Hitler." Cabaret seating with full bar service!

      I first saw this on Broadway with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. I didn't think Turtle Lane (or anyone) could compare, but to my surprise, it was just as much fun and just as enjoyable. "Max" and... Expand

      I first saw this on Broadway with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick. I didn't think Turtle Lane (or anyone) could compare, but to my surprise, it was just as much fun and just as enjoyable. "Max" and "Leo" were great. My only criticism was some of the "gay" parts were over played. See this show if you can. You'll love it! Collapse

      This was one of the best performances I've seen at Turtle Lane Playhouse. I saw this performance at a larger and more expensive venue in Boston and this performance was right up there. I especially enjoyed how easily the actors interchanged roles. Turtle Lane Playhouse is a gem where you can see performances for a lot less money and it's easy to get to. Collapse

      This is a terrifically directed guilty pleasure. "Guilty" because many of the jokes and gags might be termed "politically incorrect" - so consider yourself warned. :-) The music, choreography, costume... Expand

      This is a terrifically directed guilty pleasure. "Guilty" because many of the jokes and gags might be termed "politically incorrect" - so consider yourself warned. :-) The music, choreography, costume design and set design are all first-rate. The actors are *all* very strong (Joe Berry channeled Nathan Lane beautifully - not that he had to) and it was a total pleasure to watch and enjoy. A great value and worth catching before the run is up. Collapse

      Well done, if you like musical comedies, you'll probably enjoy this one. A good chance to see this play at a convenient location and at an affordable price.
