A tour-de-force, one-man play that explores the extraordinary true story of Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, an East German transvestite who endured, survived, and perhaps abetted the Nazi and Communist regimes. Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Directed by Jeffry Stanton. Featuring David Gram. A production of the Boston Center for American Performance, BCAP, Boston University's professional performing arts initiative.
