  We have actually seen the play twice. Since it was extended we brought an out of town guest. The entire cast was very talented and extremely good in their roles. The play was irreverent, bawdy and yet wonderfully poignant and true. Thanks to the theater and cast. Collapse

  While I was excited to see this show, I have to admit I thought it was a hot mess. The first half was fun, funny, a bit lude, but very enjoyable. It's the second half that ruined the entire experience for me. As a gay man, I feel I'm pretty liberal, open minded and accepting. I felt that the writers, directors and performers went to far. The night I went, I saw three separate couples walk out of the show, when the Satan and Jesus characters were spewing the f-bomb all over the place. Wasn't quite sure why that was necessary and why Jesus was portrayed so blasphemously. Now I'm not religious by any means, but certainly some people in the audience are and I was more uncomfortable for them. Most of the audience laughed through the first act, I didn't hear one cackle in the second act at all. Most people seemed to hurry out after the show was over. I would never see this show again. The best performance by far was Baby Jane. Good voice. Collapse
