Join Boston Lyric Opera for a day of imagination and adventure in support of the Company's Education and Community Programs initiatives. Fun activities kick the day off, followed by a yummy lunch for all. Then, it's into the theatre for Mozart's adventurous and colorful rescue opera, "The Magic Flute." The one-hour performances are sung in English with sets, costumes and BLO's orchestra.

      My family has been going to the BLO family operas for years and it's a wonderful event. You start with a lovely lunch (with kid-friendly food) and lots of great crafts and activities, and then everyone goes up into the theatre to see the one-hour opera performance. The kids learn about shouting "bravo" and get very involved. We're really looking forward to this year's opera day! Collapse
