Celebrated internationally for her live shows, singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rokia Traore returns after a five-year absence with all-new material from her much anticipated release Tchamantche. Many of her new songs are built around her subtle and bluesy electric-guitar work complemented by the wiry African ngoni lute. With a spellbinding stage presence and captivating voice, Traore and her band create an intimate new contemporary sound that is profoundly African.
