"The 13 Most Beautiful Songs for Andy Warhol's Screen Tests" merges Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips' indie "dream pop" with the startling beauty of Andy Warhol's "Screen Tests." Filmed by Warhol between 1964 and 1966, these revealing portraits capture visitors to The Factory, from the famous to the anonymous. Performing live to large scale video projections of Warhol's masterpieces, Dean and Britta (formerly of indie-pop band Luna) weave together entrancingly melodic guitar hooks and cleverly wistful lyrics to tell the stories of the individuals in the films.
