Crushing any preconceived notions of what an acoustic jazz trio ought to be, The Bad Plus deliver uncanny, infectious and daring reconstructions of rock and pop classics (by Nirvana, the Pixies, Pink Floyd and more) and craft bold originals of their own. Bassist Reid Anderson, pianist Ethan Anderson and drummer Dave King are shrewd, hearty improvisers with the ability to build, contort, destroy, rebuild and reinvent without losing grasp of the song. For this special tour in support of their new recording For All I Care, The Bad Plus are joined by guest vocalist, Minneapolis alt-rock singer Wendy Lewis.
