Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas perform Scottish fiddle and cello music of unrivaled beauty, eloquence and passion. Fraser is unquestionably one of the finest fiddle players in the world, a consummate performer with a deep understanding that spans centuries of Scottish music. Natalie Haas is in the vanguard of young cellists who are redefining the role of the cello in traditional music. Together, they push the traditional forms in exciting new directions, swapping melodic and harmonic lines, trading rhythmic riffs and improvising on the groove of Scottish tunes.
