Sunday Concert Series: Alexander Ghindin, Piano

Alexander Ghindin, 2007 winner of the prestigious Cleveland International Piano Competition, performs a varied program of works by Liszt, Rachmaninoff, Moussorgsky, and more in the Gardner Museum's intimate Tapestry Room. "His fingers blurring across the keys in Liszt's tricky octave passages, [Ghindin] easily surmounted the work's ferocious technical demands. Equally important, he fully conveyed its lyrical beauty, playing with introspection and an assured, singing tone.“ The New York Times
