Following the national success of her previous Tony-attracting shows, "The Royal Tour" and "Back with a Vengeance," Dame Edna Everage the international housewife, therapist, gigastar, guru, and celebrity confidant, is currently crafting her latest, exciting entertainment strategies on her private estate in her native Australia. All will soon be revealed with "Dame Edna-My First Last Tour" to her adoring, loyal, and fashionably slim US audiences. Dame Edna will display her unique genius within a new and vibrantly stimulating theatrical infrastructure. Dame Edna said today "I don't do shows, I make history. I offer solutions. In a spooky way I am theatre in the making. My shows are really not shows at all; they are not even Events, they are Miracles which you can proudly tell your grandchildren you witnessed."       Yes I to was looking forward to Dame Edna show however I was disappointed that it was almost the same show I saw four years ago. There was some new material but not much. The rest of the office must... Expand

      Yes I to was looking forward to Dame Edna show however I was disappointed that it was almost the same show I saw four years ago. There was some new material but not much. The rest of the office must not have seen it before becasue them seemed to really enjoy it or they are diehard fans. Collapse

      I couldn't wait to see Dame Edna again at the Colonial Theatre in Boston, MA and she was just as fabulous as ever! She is not only hysterical, but I'm always impressed at how brilliant she really is.... Expand

      I couldn't wait to see Dame Edna again at the Colonial Theatre in Boston, MA and she was just as fabulous as ever! She is not only hysterical, but I'm always impressed at how brilliant she really is. She asks questions of audience members and always remembers their names and will call on them again when what they told her fits into her repertoire much later in the program. I only hope that this is the First of many, many Last Tours. She is always a delight!! Collapse

      I saw Dame Edna's last tour twice and really enjoyed it. She was funny and the sets were great. My biggest disappointment was that this show was just a rehash of the past show with no new material... Expand

      I saw Dame Edna's last tour twice and really enjoyed it. She was funny and the sets were great. My biggest disappointment was that this show was just a rehash of the past show with no new material and no set to speak of. The energy of the past show was gone too, maybe this is her last tour. While I've found Edna funny in the past i would not go to anther one of her shows so this was my LAST Dame Edna tour. Collapse

      This should be called the retirement tour. I have seen Dame Edna's shows on quite a few occasions and found her/his shows to be extremely funny and entertaining, but to pay 80 bucks a ticket just to... Expand

      This should be called the retirement tour. I have seen Dame Edna's shows on quite a few occasions and found her/his shows to be extremely funny and entertaining, but to pay 80 bucks a ticket just to hear the same one liners and basically the same show I have seen years prior, I would have spent that money on some other Broadway show or even a comedy stop. We got up and left a half hour into the show. Love the Dame, but it is time to hang up the wig and wing tip glasses and call it a day. This probably explains why the tiny Colonial Theatre was only half full for the show, when she usually sells out. Collapse

I have seen Dame Edna's shows on quite a few occasions and found her/his shows to be extremely funny and entertaining, but to pay 80 bucks a ticket just to hear the same one liners and basically the same show I have seen years prior, I would have spent that money on some other Broadway show or even a comedy stop.
