    Acclaimed storytellers, musicians and performing artists representing the native cultures of Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi and Massachusetts return to PEM for the 9th Annual ECHO Performing Arts Festival. This year's performance, The Way to the Heart: Changing Food, Foodways, and Culture, features live music, dance, humor and stories, as well as an afternoon of hands-on art making activities. First-time festival performers include actor and musician, M. Cochise Anderson (Chickasaw/Mississippi Choctaw), storyteller, Nitana Hicks (Mashpee Wampanoag), and poet, Cathy Redford (Aupiaq).
