On Thursday, March 5 at 12.15pm, three musicians from the Handel and Haydn Society period instrument orchestra present a unique and intimate performance of Haydn's trios and other remarkable chamber pieces that display virtuosity, playfulness and refinement. The Handel and Haydn Trio: Christina Day Martinson, violin; Jenny Stirling, viola; and Sarah Freiberg, cello; will provide an overview of historical performance practices and lead a short discussion on Haydn's legacy.
