Will McMillan: The Kid Inside
March 14, 2009
IRNE award-winning singer Will McMillan and pianist Doug Hammer travel back to high school in this benefit concert to help pay for recent renovations to the Cambridge Center's Steinert grand piano. "The Kid Inside" was originally performed at Will's 25th reunion and features music by Cole Porter, Joni Mitchell, Stephen Sondheim, Heisler & Goldrich, Lennon & McCartney, Craig Carnelia, and David Bowie. A member of SAG, AFTRA, and Equity, McMillan performs all over New England. He has been featured on WCVB's Chronicle and WGBH's Greater Boston Arts, and has attended both the Eugene O'Neil Theater Center's Cabaret Symposium and the Cabaret Conference at Yale. For more information please visit his website: www.willsings.com. The Cambridge Center hosts a special evening with Nader Tehrani, a founder and principal of Office dA, whose firm has designed an inspired array of progressive residential, institutional, commercial, and cultural structures from New England to Los Angeles, and from Korea to Kuwait. Join us for an engaging conversation about design innovation - past, present, and future - when he is interviewed by the Pulitzer Prize-winning architecture critic of the Boston Globe, Robert Campbell.
