ABOUT LISSA SCHNECKENBURGER "World class fiddler... far from just offering one dance tune after another, simple settings allow the true beauty of the music to shine through" - Sing Out Magazine

The traditional music of New England can be as warm and comforting as a winter fire or as potent and exhilarating as a summer thunderstorm. Fiddler and singer Lissa Schneckenburger is a master of both moods, a winsome, sweet-voiced singer who brings new life to old ballads and a skillful, dynamic fiddler who captures the driving rhythm and carefree joy of dance tunes old and new. Lissa's fiddling is uplifting and lively, and her singing is gentle and evocative. Both in concert and in the studio she is regularly accompanied by some of New England's best musicians. The line up for her Regent show is... Lissa Schneckenburger (fiddle, vocals) Bethany Waickman (guitar) Dan Gurney (accordion) For more on Lissa Schneckenburger, please visit http://www.lissafiddle.com/bio.htm

ABOUT ANNALIVIA "The blend of Kenney's banjo, Cohen's guitar and vocals, Block's fiddle and Simmons clear sweet voice will fill your ears with joy." - Celtic Beat Magazine Annalivia is one of the latest hip young alt-traditional bands to emerge from the potent Boston fiddle music scene. The acoustic quintet features the beautiful voice of Liz Simmons, a protegé of famed Irish singer Karan Casey. Liz is joined by fiddle champions Brendan Carey Block and Emerald Rae, guitarist/vocalist Flynn Cohen, and bass player/banjo picker Stuart Kenney. Together, their music combines Anglo-Celtic ballad singing and fiddle music traditions with their North American counterparts-Appalachia and Cape Breton-all with a groove-centric contemporary flair.
