Nisato Akio has mastered and adapted the historic technique of imbedding rice grains in porcelain in order to create translucent patterns of light that interact with his sculptural and vessel forms. In Conjunction with a solo exhibition at Keiko Gallery, Nisato will present his work at the Ceramics Program on Monday, March 30 from 10 am to Noon. Please join us and learn about Nisato's translucent porcelain vessels and sculpture.
