Fun for the whole family, this 40-minute comedy juggling show about the mysteries of matter - including atoms, molecules, and nanotechnology - is not to be missed. Join Nano Brothers Dan and Joel as they juggle everything from potted plants to tennis rackets, sometimes from atop 7-foot unicycles. Who knew physics could be this fun? Audience participation invited, not required. Get measured in nanometers after the show and tour the rest of the Museum of Science. Free with Museum Exhibit Hall ticket. Upcoming dates posted below and at http://www.mos.org/exhibits_shows/live_presentations&d=2535

      This show at the Boston Museum of Science was truely "amazing". It combined humor, great skill (juggling, riding a unicycle, slapstick comedy) with scientific information about nanos and nano technology. It was both funny and informative, and appealed to both children (of all ages) and adults. It was a great surprise to come upon this while taking our 6 year old grandson to the Museum and I highly recommend it! Collapse

      The Amazing Nano Brothers Juggling Show is truly amazing. As a 29-year-old visiting the Museum without a child in tow, I generally avoid events that I think are intended exclusively for children - and in this case I was skeptical that a 40-min show whose title combined "nano" and "juggling" would stay faithful to the underlying science. However, within minutes my concerns were replaced with laughter, and I remained thoroughly entertained throughout the performance. I highly recommend visiting the Museum to see the juggling show. While there, I would recommend also visiting the nanotechnology exhibits and attending one of the live talks on the stage, as these build on the educational material presented in the juggling show. My only complaint with the juggling show was that there was no easy way for young children to momentarily leave to eat or use the facilities. Therefore if you are bring young children, I encourage you to make sure that they are ready to sit for the whole 40 mins. Collapse

      What a great show. These talented performers engage kids of all ages. I enjoyed this as much (if not more) than my 10-year-old son. It was smart, funny, entertaining, and educational. I especially loved the electrons juggled around the nucleus (or nuclei, in the case of bonded atoms sharing electrons). The one-lines were clever--loved the "dropped data" PC quip. Collapse

It combined humor, great skill (juggling, riding a unicycle, slapstick comedy) with scientific information about nanos and nano technology. Her clever script has a prologue, three acts and a finale, all of which fit into forty thrilling minutes. Kids will love the shenanigans and adults will come away knowing exactly what makes up DNA ---and how a scanning probe microscope works---and it won’t hurt a bit. In fact, you’ll leave the museum feeling better, since laughter is, as they say, the best medicine. Collapse
