Soulja Boy's "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" debuted at number 9 on the Billboard top 100 chart, and kept climbing to number 5 within days. He recently taught YoungHollywood.com's Michelle Marie how to do his new dance "The Birdwalk", as well as his newest moves called "The Money Gang Rock". S-Beezy was also a recent speaker at the International Consumer Electronics Show 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Soulja Boy told the CES crowd how he made millions marketing his music online at such a young age." I was never on the radio, or on TV," he said. He explained how he went from burning his self-made CDs and handing them out at school, to uploading MP3s to websites with a dial-up connection. He uploaded his music to SoundClick.com and within a few weeks, he was topping the charts at only 15 years old at that time. Next, Soulja Boy started using MySpace, hired a manager and an agent, and posted his agent's number on MySpace. Immediately, thousands of calls were coming in, asking Soulja Boy to perform live. His dad wouldn't let him perform on school nights, so he started performing every weekend...while still working at Burger King! Soulja Boy went on working, making videos and embedding his clips on his MySpace page. Before he knew it, his "Crank Dat" video got 40 million views and the music topped the charts for 7 weeks in a row! Soulja Boy also appeared in MTVs Emmy-winning MADE Series in January 2009. The show featured 3 Winthrop high school students who were trained to perform and compete with Soulja Boy in the first-ever MADE Head to Head Hip Hop Challenge. Soulja Boy Tellem also won three awards at the Online Hip Hop Awards, including "King of The Net", "Digital Download of The Year (Hip Hop)" and "Artist Website of The Year".
