    Boston Conservatory piano faculty member Michael Lewin enjoys a devoted international following for his rare fusion of commanding musicianship, emotive power and glittering virtuosity. Launched by highly-publicized victories including the Kapell and Liszt International Competitions, he has toured 30 countries with an active repertoire of 40 piano concertos, and won critical acclaim for a notably wide-ranging discography. His newest recording, If I Were a Bird , is a collection of 20 diverse pieces inspired by birds.
