"Jake Shimabukuro is a soft-spoken, particularly polite 31-year-old Hawaiian who turns into Eddie Van Halen when he's holding a ukulele." Houston Chronicle Known for lightning-fast fingers and revolutionary playing techniques, Jake Shimabukuro has acquired a reputation as "the Jimi Hendrix of the ukulele." The 31-year-old virtuoso shatters musical boundaries, creating music never before thought possible on this four-string, two-octave instrument. His latest release, "My Life," features six brand-new ukulele arrangements of Jake's favorite tunes by Sarah McLachlan, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, and Cyndi Lauper, wrapped around the classic "Somewhere Over the Rainbow."
