Exhibition Closing: Youth Art Month
April 3, 2009
Come see works by students in kindergarten through grade 12, submitted by their art teachers during the 44th Youth Art Month. Created in 1961, Youth Art Month is an annual observance that emphasizes the value and encourages support of arts education in all schools. Each year, art teachers at public schools throughout Central Massachusetts and the MetroWest are invited to submit works from their students that are hung throughout the Museum's Higgins Education Wing and include drawings, paintings, photography and sculpture. This exhibition will end on April 3 at 5:00 p.m. Cost is free. For details about this exhibit, contact email@example.com or visit www.worcesterart.org.
