Students spend their mornings in rehearsal for their productions with a staff of professional theatre artists. In the afternoons, students have workshops in different performing disciplines. During the final week, students experience the technical process of a professional show, adding lights, sound and costumes for three public performances on Stoneham Theatre's stage.

Stoneham Theatre has opened so many doors for me. We don't just come here to put on a show. We come and learn about our skills as Actors,Singers,Dancers Etc. and everything that gets put into it. The directors and crew are all warm and welcoming. The Friends I have meet I know will last me a Lifetime! Stoneham Theater is such an amazing place for me to grow as a performer.

The Stoneham Theater is an amazing experience for new actors as well as old ones. When i started theater i learned so many different things like blocking, being a different person, and so many more! The Stoneham Theater allows children to play different people and learn how to act as people other than themselves. Stoneham Theater is a phenomenal place to show what you can do.

It's an amazing experience and whether you're a die-hard theatre kid, or a kid who just wants to go to camp, you will have the best experience of your life here!

The young co. has really helped boost my confidence and helped me in every day activities. This program is great for multiple children-teens on so many levels and is very welcoming so I definitely suggest this!

Whether you are fairly new to acting or have been acting for years, the Young Co. Summer Program is an experience you will never forget. In four short weeks you learn the finer points of putting on a show, and walk away with a feeling of self-confidence and skills you will carry with you for ever. The community is very welcoming and you will never feel left out at Stoneham Theatre. This summer will be my second year, but it will not be my last. I recommend this to any young thespian who wants experience!

Our boys have participated in the young co. for several years. Every kid has the opportunity to shine, develop and begin new friendships. This is a fantastic program. The kids support each other and keep in touch throughout the year. If you are looking for a summer program for your child, the young co. is worth serious consideration. You will be hard pressed to find a theater program that offers the kind of opportunity as this program.

This would be my 5th summer at the summer program at Stoneham Theatre and every school year this is what I look forward to. The workshops are incredible, the teachers and directors/choreographers/musical directors are tremendous to work with. If you are in the ensemble you are always on stage and never left out. Everyone is accepting and open minded and love having new people join. The shows always turn out spectacular and you will never forget a summer at Stoneham Theatre.

The summers at Stoneham theatre are done exceptionally well, and very professionally. A mutual respect between staff and student is guaranteed, and earned through hard work and dedication. This program is not something to be taken lightly, as the level of commitment and respect demanded is as professional as the program itself. A summer with the Stoneham theatre's young company is something impossible to describe in 1000 characters. As tacky as it sounds; Stoneham theatre is the place to dream. It is a place to take risks and chances. It's a place to fail, and make mistakes, but more importantly: to learn from those mistakes, and have an incredible summer.

I have been in many young co shows here. I have learned so much from them. We take classes with actors from New York and all over who act and teach very professional. We learn technique in dance,acting and singing. I have grown so much as a performer through their program. On top of all that, it's very fun! Everyone is very kind and motivating. You are one huge team and together, through all your hard work, you preform an amazing show at the end!

overall has been fantastic. I have learned so much
and I really learned what "dedication" means....

This upcoming summer will be my 4th and sadly
last time I will be able to participate. My experience
overall has been fantastic. I have learned so much
and I really learned what "dedication" means. The
kids who attend set high, obtainable goals and the
shows come out incredible. They become part of
your family and are always very supportive. It is a
great learning environment, and so many things get
accomplished. My favorite show that I was a part of
was 42nd street. There was around 35+ kids in the
cast, and maybe 2 of them had tap experience. Let
me just say, by the end of that 4-weeks, the
audience thought we had been tapping for years!
The theatre classes are great too. In the past 4
summers I have learned everything from Musical
Theatre History, to vocal and jazz dance
performance. This program gives you the
foundation to be a phenomenal performer and is a
great jump start into college auditions and a career.
I highly recommend it.

I have been participating in Stoneham Theatre's Summer Program for the past five years and it has been the best time of my life. All of the staff is wonderful and has helped me so much to grow as an actor. This program made me realize what I wanted to do with my life, which is to set up a program like this to help others. I have also met fantastic peers, some of which have become like family to me. The environment is always one of learning, and excitement. I highly recommend this program, there really is something for everyone. =)

I have been participating in Stoneham Theatre's Summer Program for the past five years and it has been the best time of my life.
