    Mosaics Workshop

    Design an 8" x 8" mosaic using traditional glass smalti mosaic tiles in this 2- day workshop. Looking at ancient artwork and mosaics by contemporary artists for inspiration, students will learn to cut, place and glue the tiles before grouting. Students will refine ideas using composition and color selection to create the bold simple designs required by mosaics. Bring favorite sketches and photographs to help with design choices....
