Les Lutins du Court-Metrage: A selection of the best French short films of 2008

Want to know who the next big thing in French Cinema will be? Then come watch the best French short films of 2008 at the French Library Alliance Francaise. More than 2,000 cinema professionals vote each year to determine the 25 best short films of the year, thereby bestowing upon them a mark of excellence, Les Lutins du Court-Metrage. From filmmakers like Francois Ozon, to actors such as Jérémie Rénier, Ludivine Sagnier, and Sylvie Testud, Les Lutins have a long-standing tradition of discovering France's next cinematic talents. In 2008, "Le Mozart des pickpockets"? by Philippe-Pollet Villard, was awarded "Lutins"for best short film and best scenario in 2007, and won a Cesar and an Oscar.
