The New School of Music is pleased to announce that Session Americana, a Cambridge-based folk group, will be performing a family concert on Sunday, May 31st at 4pm. Tickets are $15 if purchased in advanced at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/63885 or $20 at the door.

Session Americana, a Cambridge based group, have received numerous awards and nominations including winner of Best Roots Act (2006) and Best CD (2007) awarded by the Improper Bostonian. Session Americana performs regularly in the Boston area and have been noted as having "Genius ... Jaw-dropping vocals ... Session Americana is blessed in this regard: ...musicianship that sets the standard for the genre in Boston and vocals that do the same" by the NE Performer Magazine. The New School of Music is happy to provide a venue for Session American that will allow families an opportunity to enjoy and share the music together.
