    "A Short Night: Five American Award-Winning Independent Films," will be presented by The Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council (ABCC) and the Sargent Memorial Library on Friday, May 15 at 7:00 p.m. This free event is open to the public and is planned for an adult audience. These films have not been rated by the Motion Picture Association of America. This event will feature five films: In the Tradition of My Family, Todd Davis, director (2006); Mind the Gap, Kristal Williams-Rowley, director (2008): Terminal Conversation, Scott Kittredge, director (2006): Twitch, Leah Meyerhoff, director (2004): The Wine Bar, Christian Remde, director (2006): Directors Todd Davis, Kristal Williams-Rowley and Scott Kittredge will be on hand to discuss their films in a Question and Answer session following the screenings. Filmgoers can chat with them personally about filmmaking at the Filmmakers' Reception which ends the evening with appetizers and sweet treats."A Short Night: Five Award-Winning American Independent Films" will be presented at the Sargent Memorial Library, 427 Massachusetts Avenue, Boxborough, Friday May 15, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
