    Come raise and dance around the Maypole! Outdoor celebrations of English colonist Thomas Morton of Merrymount, who in May 1627 raised a Maypole to celebrate his multicultural plantation's prosperity with Native Americans, and in the process became one of America's first naturalists, historians, and its First Poet in English! Readings, discussions, music and dance performances by Red Herring Morris Dancers (one of their many stops through Quincy MA this day).
