But the arts also generate millions of dollars in annual revenue and can transform a community in many ways. But how can - and should - urban communities leverage the arts to stimulate economic development? Additionally, what are some strategies that a community must consider when cultivating an arts identity? Join Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz, Chair of the Committee on Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development, for a conversation about these issues and their implication for Boston neighborhoods.
