Sonali Mishra returns to present an evening of Classical Odissi Dance. Hailing from the eastern state of Orissa in India, this 2000-year old classical dance style (one of the eight classical dance forms of India) has travelled from the ancient temples in Orissa to major cities all over the globe. Renowned for its lyrical grace, intricate footwork, sculpturesque poses, and deep-rooted spirituality, Odissi remains one of the world's most complex and highly evolved art forms!
