Add Review/Comment
Three acclaimed harpists on one stage! All three are former winners of the Pro Musicis International Award and hold positions with major orchestras: Nancy Allen, principal of the New York Philharmonic, Mariko Anraku, associate principal of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and Jessica Zhou, principal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Their program includes César Franck's Prelude, Fugue and Variations, transcribed for two harps by Dewey Owens; John Thomas' Grand Duet for Two Harps; Maurice Ravel's Suite from Mother Goose, arranged for two harps by performers; three solo works from each of the performers homelands (USA, Japan and China); and selections for three harps transcribed by Nancy Allen.
