Sol y Canto founders - Latin vocalist Rosi Amador (Puerto Rico/Argentina) on lead vocals and bongos with composer/husband Brian Amador (New Mexico) on Spanish guitar and vocals, backed by their ensemble of Latin musicians on flute, sax, percussion, bass and piano, Sol y Canto will deliver songs honoring mothers and daughters, along with very special guests, twin daughters Alisa and Sonia. Now 14 years old, they will sing on their own and in 4-part vocal harmony with their Mami and Papi. Their inimitable close twin harmonies get rousing applause year after year, and with the accompaniment of Sol y Canto's seasoned musicians, Alisa and Sonia always steal the show. For this special all-ages concert there will also be a guest violinist. Sol y Canto celebrates its 16th season this year. This concert takes place on Mother's Day eve.
